Long term
As TTTAF's (That's The Thing About Fishing) activities expand, our need for extra volunteers to assist with our clinics grows.
As a result of our association with Mordialloc Boating & Angling Club, we need volunteers to help us at Mordialloc Creek. We continue to run clinics, largely at Frankston Pier, but also within the Bayside and Mornington Pensinsula areas. Volunteers are welcome to participate in either or both areas.
You will be on hand to help participants with baiting and casting the lines, encourage their participation and ensuring everyone has fun!
Clinics often finish with a BBQ or refreshments at the local coffee emporium.
An interest in fishing is desirable but not essential. A qualifaction in first aid is useful.
Wanting to work with youngsters and those less fortunate is a must.
Volunteers are offered a two week trial, to understand what we do and why we do it. It also gives us the opportunity to learn more about you. Membership of TTTAF is then available, together with the chance to participate in more of our activities, including sausage sizzles and other fund-raising work.
