Our group of volunteers help refugees and migrants for 1 hour per week to learn English and settle into Australian life.

Become a Volunteer English Tutor now and make a huge difference to your local community.

The Melbourne Adult Migrant English Program AMEP through the Volunteer Tutor Scheme is recruiting Volunteer Tutors to support newly arrived refugees and migrants practice English skills and settle into life in Australia.

Tutors meet with their students at a convenient time each week for 1-2 hours. The program is very flexible and highly rewarding for both the tutor and student alike!

No qualifications necessary, you must be reasonably fluent in English and be willing to undertake a Police and Working with Children Check.

Online training is provided. It is very informative and engaging.

Please visit our website at www.melbourneamep.com.au/volunteer/ to complete the application form.

Or contact us on 9269 1514 or email amepvts@melbournepolytechnic.edu.au
