Providing a free, hot, 2 course meal to those in need every Tuesday and Thursday.

Disadvantaged people in the Kingston community are able to enjoy all the comforts of a home cooked meal and friendship at Matt’s Place.

Matt’s Place, open every Tuesday and Thursday, provides warm hospitality for those who are doing it tough or are disconnected from the community.  A two course hot meal is provided as well as an opportunity for connection and social interaction through activities such as playing cards.

Bayside Church and other local Kingston churches have banded together to open Matt’s Place after recognising a gap in the community.  Churches include Bayside Community Care (the benevolent arm of Bayside Church), Church of the Open Door, St Matthews Anglican Church and St Chad's Church.
