Acacia is a community based sessional kindergarten. It has two 4 year old groups and one 3 year old group. It has been operating for over 50 years.
Acacia Avenue Preschool is run by a Committee of Management, a group of volunteer parents who are elected at an Annual General Meeting each year. It has been operating for over 50 years. It has two 4 year old groups and one 3 year old group.
Acacia Ave Preschool is located in a brand new, beautifully designed purpose built facility that opened at the beginning of 2019.
At Acacia we provide a nurturing and caring environment for the children to start their journey into formal education. As a team our staff have many years of experience and strong ties to the local community and this ensures a smooth running of the preschool program.
We welcome and encourage parent/family involvement in a variety of ways through Committee involvement and participating in preschool sessions doing duty. Acacia is non profit community based preschool and relies on donations and fundraising from the parents and local community. We welcome all families to visit the kinder if they are considering sessional kindergarten. We have an open door policy.
