Association of Independent Retirees - Melbourne Southern Branch

Education & learning
The Melbourne Southern Branch of A.I.R. meets monthly to discuss matters affecting self-funded and partly funded retirees. The National Association lobbies state and federal governments on behalf of its members and is the peak body representing the interests of self-funded retirees.

The Melbourne Southern Branch meets regularly at the Elsternwick Hotel on the fourth Monday of the month to discuss matters of interest with it's members. Guest speakers are invited to address our group on a variety of subjects that may include finance and estate planning, health, politics and local government issues etc.

After general business is concluded usually about midday members may stay on for lunch and an hour or so of social activity in the bistro.

Visitors are always welcome at our meetings.

Opening Hours

We meet on the 4th Monday of every month at 9.45 am for a 10.00am start at the Elsternwick Hotel on the corner of Brighton Road and Glenhuntly Road Elwood.
