An association of Filipino seniors who have come together for companionship and cultural activities.

PEASER is a social group of senior Filipinos living in the south east region of Melbourne.  The association was founded in 1993 in the City of Kingston and is based at the Sundowner Centre in Clarinda. The Association was started to assist elderly Filipinos and their families to integrate to life in Australia; promote Filipino cultural heritage and customs; to organise recreational activities; to improve the health and fitness of all members and to access social services. The member’s activities include visiting nursing homes and the sick, hold regular cultural activities and social events and information sessions where issues such as home security and health topics are discussed. A members' dance group performs cultural dances from different regions of the Philippines, performing at functions and festivals around Melbourne and to other ethnic groups.

Senior Filipino citizens are welcome to join and meet like-minded people in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
