Free and low-cost events running all month at Kingston’s Neighbourhood Houses.
To celebrate Victoria’s Neighbourhood House Week this 10-17 May, Kingston’s Neighbourhood Houses are giving the community more opportunities to try everything they have to offer, with a special month-long calendar of free or low-cost activities and events all throughout May.
Kingston boasts ten Neighbourhood Houses, each delivering fun, interesting and educational classes and courses, connecting groups of people of all ages. From adult learning to school holiday activities, men’s sheds, music classes and community gardening, there’s something for everyone. Approximately 12,000 residents use these wonderful, welcoming facilities each week, which are run by volunteer-based organisations and funded by Kingston Council and the Victorian Government.
The May celebrations will showcase each of the Neighbourhood Houses’ programs and offer insights into the diverse services our Neighbourhood Houses provide, enabling Kingston residents to experience a little bit of everything in a fun and informal environment, while getting to know other local community members.
Visit the houses' websites below to view the great calendar of events on offer all throughout May and plan your visits today.
