Chelsea Community Church of Christ and CareWorks provides a free weekly Big Breakfast for those who are homeless and 'doing it tough' in today's environment. The 3 course breakfast provides a menu style hot breakfast in an environment of compassion and respect

Chelsea CareWorks has been providing a free weekly 'Big Breakfast' for the past 10 years within the Chelsea Community Church of Christ. There are many in our society who are experiencing homelessness; financial and food instability; family violence and living with mental and/or physical health issues. This often leads them to being ostracized and forgotten in society.

Our Big Breakfast provides a sumptuous 3 course meal and enables those struggling to meet others and form friendships within a safe and supporting environment.

Attendees can also access our free food pantry to assist with opportunities for pastoral care/counselling and referral to external agencies if required.

We currently service around 100 persons per week ranging from babies to oldies. No-one is turned away, however persons need to be free from the influence of alcohol or illegal drug substances.
