We run free classes all over Melbourne as a community service for helping people find and activate their own inner peace, balance and wisdom. Rather than fill the mind with more clutter, we learn how to still and clear it, so our true spirit can flow through our being and life. It is an experience.
While technically called Sahaja Yoga Meditation, there are no ‘yoga’ postures; instead we achieve inner yoga, or union with ourselves and forces greater than ourselves so we feel connected and alive. The easy, non-invasive method, which was developed in 1970 by a very wise woman, is now practised in more than 100 countries around the world. It is ‘the new yoga’ if you will, connecting us the spirit in a way never before possible.
Classes are held weekly in Cheltenham, are open to everyone, including children who respond very well given their mind’s less cluttered than ours. They are always free since you cannot be charged for what is already innately yours. We usually run through a little explanation, sometimes watch a video, and always meditate. You can feel the effects directly on your central nervous system. It is different to any meditation you may have done before. You’re welcome to just come along, or call and say hi first.
