Tai Chi improve muscle tone, strength, fitness, joint flexibility, balance and co-ordination.

There are many styles of Tai Chi. At Chelsea Activity Hub come and learn Tai Chi for Arthritis, which is based on Sun style Tai Chi.

Tai Chi for Arthritis is easy to learn, improves balance, flexibility and strength and reduces stress levels.

Practicing Tai Chi calms the mind and increases the sense of well-being. Suitable for people of all ages and physical condition. Sessions begin with gentle warm up exercises and end with cool down exercises. You will be encouraged to work within your own comfort zone at all times, and to sit and rest if you become tired.

Participants are advised to wear loose comfortable clothing and flat shoes.

Our instructor Coralie has successfully completed Tai Chi for Arthritis, Tai Chi for Osteoporosis and Tai Chi for Diabetes leader training programs developed by Dr. Paul Lam and the Tai Chi for Health Institute, and endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria.
