The City of Kingston Social Development and Kingston Arts Teams are excited to bring Big Break Online for 2020!
Big Break is an annual program providing opportunity for individuals and/or groups with disability to participate and develop skills in arts and/or performance-based workshops coinciding with the celebration of International Day of People with Disabilities.
This year we have teamed up with the talented Rawcus Ensemble, a diverse group of performers from all over Melbourne, to offer this chance to check in, connect and get moving within our community over 4 free Zoom sessions in November. We’ll say hi, will stretch, we’ll dance!
Bring your pets, your children or your housemates. Wear your PJs or your sequins. You don’t need to be a performer or dancer to enjoy this offering, you just need a computer or phone and an internet connection. It will be inclusive, celebratory and fun. This is a chance to check in and get moving.
Register for one two or all four sessions commencing Monday November 9 from 12pm.
November 9 12pm-12:20pm
November 16 12pm-12:20pm
November 23 12pm-12:20pm
November 30 12pm-12:20pm
To participate please register your interest via email to Eugenia.Grammatikakis@kingston.vic.gov.au or telephone: 9581 4806.
Participants must have a connection to The City of Kingston i.e. live, work, attend a school or group within Kingston. Registrations are free, places are limited, and some sessions will be filmed. Multiple users on one device only need to register once but all participants must complete a photographic permission form. All sessions will be facilitated with an Auslan Interpreter.
Hop on and boogie with us!
