A Chinese exercise system that uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation of both body and mind.

No bookings required.  Class does NOT run on public holidays or Christmas/New Year period. 

Classes are open to anyone provided they are medically fit and can participate without assistance in the class.

All levels welcome. Wear comfortable sneakers or runners.

Classes usually last for one hour. Participants are encouraged to rest when needed and to always work within their comfort zone. The Tai Chi exercises in this program would be similar to walking in terms of physical exertion. Participants are required to do a gentle warm-up before they start and a cool down afterwards. This could include light stretches or walking.

Trained instructors of this program conduct the class. All certified instructors are listed online at www.taichiforhealthinstitute.org.

All trainers at PLCC are employed by Kingston Active.
