Graffiti Removal

Kingston's volunteer graffiti removal program is currently on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions. If you are interested in registering for opportunities to participate in a session post-COVID-19 restrictions, please contact Council.

Would you like your local area to be free of graffiti? Help Council keep our streets graffiti free by volunteering to remove graffiti.

This volunteer activity is run in groups, so you can register your interest as an individual and be allocated to a group, or register your interest with your existing community/church/school group.

Graffiti removal is run in half day sessions. Our supervisor will provide you with water, snacks, sunscreen, protective gear and other safety equipment. Our supervisor will guide you with instructions to protect your safety.

Primarily, graffiti is removed by painting over graffiti. You may also get an opportunity to use the high pressure water cleaner.

We will endeavour to find a time, date and location within Kingston for a graffiti removal session that is suitable to you (and the weather).

No experience is required.
