Grants Officer

This opportunity is a volunteer role helping our organisation achieve its goals. Main tasks are to find and seek relevant funding opportunities to support the ongoing environmental and conservation efforts of the organisation within wildlife rehabilitation. Suitable applicant would volunteer from home during covid restrictions but have regular meetings via zoom with Treasurer and President to report on funding opportunities and successful grant outcomes, have proven grant writing skills and be able use current grant application platforms.
Meetings to establish an understanding of the needs and ethos of the organisation.To gain insight into challenges facing our wildlife & its unique role in Australia in order to write better grant applications would be an ongoing process.
A passion for Australian native wildlife and to make a difference within our organisation for the benefit of wildlife in our care and released wildlife outcomes. Immediate start is required to help us move forward towards our long term goals.
A successful applicant will have brilliant wordsmith and story writing skill, should be easy going but goal orientated.
