Kitchen Garden Volunteer
Volunteers will work FareShare's vegetable garden on Les Baguley's farm in Clayton South - under the supervision of FareShare's Garden Program Manager.
Gardening tasks will generally include weeding, planting, fertilizing, harvesting, composting, propagation and pest management. However if you are interested in a specific task please chat to our Garden Program Manager once you have started volunteering.
No experience is necessary - but please note that garden volunteers will need to be prepared and able to do physical activities such as kneeling, bending, and lifting – as well as working in most weather conditions.
Shifts run from 9:00 am - 12 noon and are available as follows:
- Mondays, weekly or fortnightly;
