Type of Work: Governance, Boards & Committees

Suitable For: Skilled Volunteers

Duration: Commencing from November 2018 with an initial 12 month commitment (option for ongoing)

 Time Required: Between 2-3 hours each month

Requirements:

  • National Police Check (BayCISS will arrange)
  • Appropriate professional and/or business qualifications and/or experience
  • A commitment to the values of the organisation and social justice
  • Experience as a leader in the community or business sectors
  • Previous experience as a member of a Board or Committee will be highly regarded

Tasks and responsibilities

  •  Attend and participate in monthly Committee meetings
  •  Provide input into the strategic direction of the organisation
  • Ensure BayCISS is operating within the law as outlined in our Constitution and is compliant with funding agreements
  • Review and provide feedback on all reports including financial
  • Meet and develop relationships with external stakeholders as required
  • Provide support to the Chairperson as required
  • Represent the organisation at nominated events and meetings as required
