Radio presenter

Long term

As a program presenter on 88.3 Southern FM you'll be part of an enthusiastic team that provides community radio programming to listeners in the Southern and Bayside suburbs of Melbourne.

You'd be required to research, prepare and present a program, either live-to-air or pre-recorded.

It can be talk-based or focus on music. We encourage the presentation of programs that feature local artists and new Australian music.

Programs should have elements of interest to the community of the City of Kingston as well as the neighbouring municipalities of Bayside, Glen Eira, Port Phillip and Stonnington.

The role is based at our studios in Brighton, but you may wish to set up a home "studio" to record your show for broadcast at a later time.

The role of presenter does not require previous broadcasting experience, but previous experience in public speaking, acting or an interest in music, journalism and local knowledge will be an advantage.

If you're keen to produce and present a program, please submit a "program brief" or outline of your concept for a program to our Program Support Group via programming@southernfm.com.au
