Established in 1982, 39plus is a not for profit organisation delivering a range of respite and social support services for older people and carers and people living with a disability across the 39 postcode. Specialising in dementia respite, 39plus also offers customers access to respite services delivered in a variety of community-based settings including our dedicated respite cottage, in the customers own home or from one of our centre based facilities. Additional services we provide are, social support groups, community outreach and medical appointment service
We are seeking volunteer drivers in the Greater Southern Region and on the Mornington Peninsula.
Join us today to help some of the communities most vulnerable people to access vital health care services.
Our Medical Appointment Service provides door to door service delivered by our dedicated team of valued volunteer drivers.
To become a volunteer you will need:
- Police check
- Working with children check
- Full drivers licence
- Comprehensive car insurance
The benefits of volunteering can be enormous. Volunteering offers vital help to people in need, worthwhile causes, and the community, but the benefit can be even greater for you the volunteer.

All services fees collected go directly to reimbursing the volunteer drivers for costs incurred in the course of their delivery of the service.
