The Friends of Edithvale Seaford Wetlands are currently operating online in the corona virus environment with activities expected to resume under corona virus managed policies in 2021.
In the meantime we are looking to retain our volunteers, recruit others in a number of roles in community engagement at our public venues - the bird hide and other when open.
We are also looking for tree planting volunteers, tour guides (occasional), continuing our water study group in 2021, and expanding other roles including committee roles, strategy planning, archiving, and social media (videos, other)
These activities will be on weekends/other times. Training opportunities are available for volunteers.
A working with children check is required. First aid is desirable with some training options available.
We work online and hold meetings on zoom at the moment. An interest in the environment is useful with information on our currently suspended activities on our website and in our newsletter also on our newsletter.
All enquiries welcomed and responded to with options to work with experienced committee members and passionate volunteers for many years in the wetlands - 30 years plus involvement in the wetlands and in working with like minded volunteers. An opportunity to upskill for employment and enjoy the ramsar listed wetlands. Enquiries to Secretary, Margaret Hunter on 0417 323 460
